our practice

If you are a new patient, we would like to take this opportunity of welcoming you to our practice. Our surgeries have been equipped to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere in which to treat you. We are always happy to hear your comments

Children are always welcome. Our focus is on the "prevention is better than cure" ethos. It is out practice philosophy to promote dental health at all times. therefore we recommend regular check-ups. In the long term, these will help keep down the cost of your treatment.

It is our policy for each patient to see one dentist on a continuing basis. However, if this is not possible for any reasons, suitable alternative arrangements will be made for you to see someone else within the practice.

We employ two dental hygienists in our Practice who are in attendance on a part-time basis, Sue Austin and Demi Whelan who are both fully trained and experienced in all aspects of dental hygiene, including scaling and polishing teeth, periodontal (gum) treatment and giving advice to promote oral health. Patients who have regular dental hygiene treatments increase their chances of keeping their teeth for life

Over the years we have developed experience in all aspects of dental care, but in certain cases we may refer patients to colleagues who have specialist skills in certain types of treatment. As a caring practice we take all necessary precautions to safeguard our patients and staff against blood-borne infections. We follow recommended guidelines regarding sterilisation or instruments and use of disposable items. Click here to read our CQC report.

We have ground floor facilities which are suitable for our disabled patients, as well as free on and off street parking.

We also stock a full range of dental hygiene products (toothbrushes, mouthwashes, dental floss, denture cleaners, interdental brushes etc)
